i thought i'd added a comment..but oh well... i love how you draw mike... as for the shirt here...i used to work in a clothes store in Houston and we sold shirts like this around Rodeo time every year. of course this was decades after mike had his but they were the cheaper versions;)
i've wondered if mike's flag shirt wasn't a Nudie. I've been able to find two shirts of his that i'm pretty sure are Nudies...besides the beautiful suit of lights:) (Took me forever to finally see the back of that thing!)
i was so happy when he said the other day that he still has it...i'm so happy it still has a good home. That Nudie deserves to be on display where it can get the respect it deserves:)

i love this...i actually used to work in a clothes store in Houston and every year come rodeo time we carried some of the weirdest shirts. I know i sold one like this...of course it was decades after Mike had his but they were the same. those folks dress up for the rodeo whether they're in the show or sitting in the bleachers!
I kinda sorta wondered if Mike's shirt wasn't a Nudie...he has at least one or two Nudie shirts i've found besides the beautiful Nudie Suit;) (I was so happy when he said the other day that he still has it...that no museum would take it...i like to know its still got a good home;) )

I don't know much about this shirt except that he wore it during the Australia tour in 1968.
I think that suited him very well.
